With a foundation built on hard work and innovation, David's career reflects a dedication to mechanical engineering and marine solutions. A proud graduate of the University of South Florida (USF) in 2005 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he embarked on a journey that has shaped their expertise and reputation.

Starting at K.I.S.S Marine Mobile from 2008 to 2012, he gained valuable hands-on experience in marine systems and design. Then advanced to Diesel Design Eng from 2012 to 2016, refining his skills in diesel systems and engineering design. From 2016 to 2020, he served as a Marine Application Engineer at Yanmar Marine, where he specialized in crafting innovative solutions tailored to client needs.

In 2021, he returned to K.I.S.S Marine, where he continues to play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge marine engineering services. His career is a testament to growth, adaptability, and a deep passion for advancing the field of mechanical and marine engineering.

Certifications

The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) certification ensures technicians are trained to follow marine industry standards for safety, quality, and performance. To earn this certification, technicians must complete rigorous training in areas like electrical systems, engine performance, and safety compliance.

Because of our ABYC certification, we can work on a wide range of systems including wiring, fuel systems, and overall boat safety inspections, ensuring your vessel meets industry safety standards and performs at its best.

The National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA 2000) certification focuses on expertise with marine electronics and networking. Achieving this certification involves detailed training on the installation, troubleshooting, and integration of NMEA 2000-compliant systems, which allow seamless communication between onboard electronic devices.
